Pump Scheduling — Energy Cost Optimization

Hello, I'm Sergey Koval.

I'm an engineering physicist based in Italy, specializing in modeling high-complexity systems — including digital twins for municipal water networks and energy-saving utility solutions.

Background: MSc in Engineering Physics / Applied Physics, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT).

This tool analyzes a water distribution network (an EPANET model) and searches for a pump schedule that reduces electricity cost against your time-of-use tariff, while checking that the result is still hydraulically feasible — storage levels, minimum service pressure, and demand all respected.

Honestly: this is a beta. It's a real, working tool, not a mockup — the underlying simulation and search are genuine. But it's new, results can take several minutes to compute, and they should be treated as a starting point for engineering review, not a final operational decision. I'm actively continuing to refine the models and the optimizer.
